These are some stunning images from a recent ballet performance at Strovolos Theatre, Nicosia. So much colour, motion, expression, beautiful acting and unique costumes.
A breathtaking performance I loved to photograph and that kept my attention throughout when watching it on the second evening:
Already back in May I had the pleasure to photograph a great theatre performance held at the University of Cyprus. Yesterday this very well known group from Greece “Morfes Ekfrasis (Forms of expression in English translation) – Μορφές Έκφρασης” presented a wonderful and ever so entertaining performance.

I had the great opportunity to portrait stunning British model Tanya during a recent photography workshop here in Cyprus, organised by the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers in collaboration with the British Photographer John Denton John Denton Photography.
Being a mix of fashion and bridal shoot we experimented in how to successfully pose the subject, light her with flash on location, or take advantage of the great natural light Cyprus offers, which for me, personally, is always a very creative option when shooting people in an outdoor environment.
Photography is about light or better described as “Painting with Light” and there is always room for us photographers to increase our expertise in this field !

These images are from the most recent event at the University of Cyprus. A lecture about art was held after twelve paintings from various Cypriot artists have been donated to the University.

An 80th Birthday is certainly a fabulous opportunity to get the whole family together and celebrate!
This lovely family met at their parent’s home, also the place were the three children grew up, and spent a sunny afternoon together.
It was George’s birthday and his three children with their families were present. Lots of sun, playing in the big garden and enjoying lunch on the terrace!
Apart from documenting this event we also took the opportunity to get some couples, family and kids pictures
