About the photographer

My name is Viola Carnelos and I am a photographer specialised in fine art child potrait and maternity photography.

What I love the most about my art is the opportunity I have to connect with people and capture their inner essence in a shot that will be admired for a long time.

Being a photographer is not only a profession, but also a responsibility, because what I capture with my camera will be associated with a particular moment in someone’s life.

The beginning of a new life, the expectation for it, the bond of a family framed in a photo that will make other people smile and feel good. This is what I work for.

My studio is located in Richmond, London. We will have a great variety of backgrounds, lights, props, and fabrics to use for your shooting.

There are a lot of nice green areas in West London where we could take outstanding photos. Sceneries and weather create unlimited shot opportunities.

If you feel comfortable in your own home, there is no reason to shoot somewhere else! I will take my equipment and come to a location of your choice.

I had seen maternity photos in the past and always thought they were a lovely memento of such a special time, but I didn’t think I would ever have the opportunity to do this myself. Thank goodness for Viola! Even after the photo shoot, I didn’t quite know how the images would turn out – I couldn’t imagine how things looked through the other side of the lens – but we were blown away by the end results, which far exceeded our expectations.
