Boutique School Photography

My aim is to create a genuine portrait, an image that is exclusively about the child, whilst the whole experience on the photo day is all around more personal. My photographic style is timeless, contemporary and artistic. The results are images that will fit into any home.

It is, of course, still a school portrait, with me, the photographer, going into the school and providing a school portrait for the families, except it is a different school portrait, which the parents will proudly display at their home and share with their relatives.

A meaningful and authentic portrait doesn’t necessarily require a smile achieved through the photographer shouting “Say Cheese!” A straight face speaks volumes. I will never force a smile, but photograph the children as they are on that day.

I aim to shoot several poses. Some will be where the child is not looking directly into the camera to help them feel relaxed. The result is a series of genuine portraits of the child.

The background is plain black : It’s timeless, artistic and contemporary and a little different than the norm. The child’s portraits will be a piece of art!

Parents will have online access to a photo gallery where they will have a choice of several images, always in colour as well as black & white. It is possible to order prints of various sizes and digital downloads. There is no minimum order.

What is the advantage of purchasing the digital image(s)? With the high resolution digital files you will always be able to get prints done yourself through a favorite website or at any store. They are yours forever and you are able to keep printing costs low.
